The Morrison Government has announced that the relaxation of isolation rules will be extended to teachers, transport workers and other critical industries, amid warnings Omicron could sideline 10 per cent of the workforce as it peaks. Finance Minister Simon Birmingham says the demand for PCR and rapid antigen tests is ‘far, far in excess’ of what had been envisaged previously.
